BRIEF
The FOTON 16CBM refuse compactor truck is designed to collect loose garbage and refuse from different spots, compact it to a suitable size, and then transport it to the dumping ground.

Truck mounted rear loading garbage compactors are high quality in construction. The body volume is designed based on different chassis loading weights. The positive compaction against the ejector plate is used to enable the desired compaction to be achieved at all times for even loading. The refuse is pressed into the compactor by a compaction plate and the mechanism shall enable the full body volume to be filled with compacted refuse. The refuse shall be unloaded by an ejector plate. All are operated by hydraulic systems.
FEATURES
Body
- The body is fabricated from Q235 carbon steel sheets (5 mm thick floor, 4 mm side wall, and floor plate), reinforced by front and rear stiffeners so as to withstand continuous operation at maximum imposed loads.
- The body sides shall be equipped with standard profile steel guide rails that will guide and support the ejector panel.
- The body is anti-rust treated.
Ejection Plate
- The ejector plate is fabricated from high-strength steel 6mm thick mild steel plate.
- The hydraulic telescopic cylinder extends and retracts the ejector over the full length of the body and double acting.
Tailgate
- The tailgate has a self-locking/unlocking arrangement and raises to permit ejection of the refuse when the hydraulic valve is manually actuated.
- It is equipped with safety devices to prevent the tailgate from falling abruptly
in the event of hydraulic failure or hose burst.
Bin Lifting Device
The hydraulically operated bin lifter is installed at the rear end and is capable of lifting the EN standard containers of various sizes of 120, 240, 660, 1100 liters bins. The bin arms shall have a self-locking arrangement to prevent bins from sliding over during the unloading operation. The arms shall be locked in folded position during vehicle movement on the road.
Compaction Plate
- The compaction plate is made of high-strength steel. It can also be built with Hardox Material. Connection elements are made of special quality steel.
- The compaction plate moves on the inclined surface. The compaction plate compacts the collected waste in the hopper into the body.
Controls
The garbage truck operation is fully automatic –PLC system. The operation is capable of a continuous cycle, semi-automatic single cycles, and manually operated. The system is controlled from the PLC control box, which enables, start, stop, 1-cycle, continuous cycles, and rescue activities.
